Baby-One-Block Quilts - Peace Puppy in the Window
The Peace Puppy in the Window quilt has more borders than either Peek-a-Bear or Hula Bear so it appears more complex. The extra borders help define the window. It is still a very simple design with just one window quilt block for the applique background. This quilt also has some dimensional pieces for your little one to hang on to while dragging around. The puppy ears and window shade make great handles for little hands. Blanket stitch embroidery was used to outline the Peace Puppy and features. Dog bone, peace sign, and flower appliques make great quilting motifs too. Finished size is approx. 40" x 45".
Appliques can be used for a multitude of other projects.
