`E Komo Mai' (welcome in Hawaiian). Pineapple `E Komo Mai' makes a great wall hanging or table quilt to welcome friends and family to your home. Simplified and adapted from a pineapple quilt made in the 1890s. The included, full size pineapple applique is large (almost 19" tall) and three methods of applique are also included in the pattern instructions. I think I have made 5 or 6 of these in different fabrics and colors including several using Hawaiian fabrics, a 30s version, harvest, and even patriotic.
