Peek-a-Bear is the first in the Baby-One-Block pattern series. The idea for this series of quilts is to make one over-sized, single quilt block for the background. Added to that is a large, easy to make applique with gentle curves. The design is simple and the project goes quickly so great for baby gifts.
Blanket stitch embroidery around the bear and its features adds a lot of charm to the quilt. Full-sized templates and instructions for 2 applique methods are included in the pattern.
For best results, choose fabrics that contrast enough to feature both the bear paw quilt block and make the bear stand out. Finished size is approx. 40" x 40".
