Hope you enjoyed your holiday celebrations. Holidays were great here and I sewed and quilted a lot in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Big fun! Now it’s on to the next holiday. If you’re in need of a Valentine’s project or just want to spread the word Love… Remember you can download instructions for a cute and quick little quilt on the Free patterns page.
Draw your own love letters for the quilt or you can get mine here. They are easy to use and can be re-sized to suit. I've made a few different projects with these letters. The picture shows a pillow just finished It’s kind of a mini bolster to throw on a bed or stuff in the back of a chair. More letters… Just finished a cloth ABC book for granddaughter. I fused all the pages (very little stitching on pages) and it was almost an inch thick at the finish. I was able to sew two pages together at a time on my sewing machine. For the final binding, I took it to a shoe repair shop. Just didn’t want to deal with eyelets or grommets in each page. The shoe repair guy had a beefy, I mean heavy duty, as well as compact, sewing machine on the counter. He sewed right through that inch of cloth, interfacing, and fusible. No problem. So happy it's done in time for her birthday.
