I am making the this pattern and having trouble with the roof. When I see the background fabric squares to the roof rectangle I do not have quarter inch side seams on the sides. The background fabric goes to the corners of the roof rectangle with no quarter inch extension. Is 6.5 square the correct size for the background or should that be a 6.5 by 6.75 rectangle to allow for the quarter inch seam?
